Kapiti Island - what a fantastic experience

Room 18 had a perfect day for Kapiti. The views from the lookout were amazing - we could see the South Island, Mt Taranaki and Ruepehu on one side and on the other side every detail of the Kapiti Coast stretching out before us. We had regular encounters with cheeky Kakas and Wekas - records of these encounters will be posted this week in the form of our 'Moment in Time' poems.  Watch this space for some photos!
